I sIarted in my father's jewelry store in Yuma, AZ in 1977. I learned to make jewelry and lapidary work of opal and turquoise. Later, I moved to Scottsdale, AZ, and worked at Rosenzweig's Scottsdale Fashion Square. Randy Williams (WR Williams) worked at Rosenzweig's downtown.
We became great friends when we were transferred to Tucson Rosenzweig's. After Rosenzweig's, we worked for various independent jewelers in Phoenix. We decided to open our own stores. Randy (WR Williams) was Goldwater's and mine were Freytag and Farrar Jewelers in New Mexico.
Thoughout the years we also kept in touch and would meet in Phoenix or at tradeshows in Las Vegas, NV.
